Exploring, Drawing, and Darth Vader!?

I hit the ground running (minus the first day to get settled) and have taken my drawing board all over the grounds here at Glenfiddich. Everyone has been very supportive and it's a great place to draw. I've been on the main grounds, in the gift shop, the still house, the bottling department, etc. and there's still so much more to do!

Above are a few samples.

Last week I was drawing outside and suddenly a few seagulls swooped down at me! At one point I used my drawing board as a shield and when I turned around a Japanese tourist was laughing at me. ha! Apparently there was a nest not far from where I was standing. At that point I left but I'll get that drawing another time. A few birds won't stop me.

On Saturday I decided to explore Dufftown, the small town near the distllery. Along with Juhika, another artist in the program, we wandered around and found a path with a sign pointing to "Giant's Chair". Unfortunately that path didn't lead to an actual giant chair but it did lead to a beautiful waterfall.

Along the way I saw Darth Vader's head in a window, an interesting street sign, and an old church with a cemetary behind it. I had no idea Vader was hiding out in Scotland.

I agree with Alan re #2; keenly composed and a nice bit of story described but all are well done. Looking forward to more!
